Anyone else see a major problem with this?

I know the vast majority of the northern border with Canaduh is considered BFE and that pretty much anyone could walk across, but I think that securing the southern border is a tad bit more important at the moment.

I thought we already gave Lou Dobbs a M-16 and sent him to Arizona to shore up that border.

I saw this on my other forum as well and as I said on there... it sucks BUT... how many of you have been to Ontario... specifically the Toronto area? ummmm yeea.... prolly wouldnt blame them. I don't think its the "canadians" there worried about... its the immagrants that Canada is stupid enough to let in. Go walk through Brampton or Bramalea's (aka bramledesh) walmart and tell me what you see...

I like the line at the end about how decreased arrests are a sign of success. I would think the opposite would be more of a success.

And yeah, securing thousands of miles of border is a little more difficult than securing the border between us and Mexico, which is the one we're having more problems with. So why even bother that much with Canada? If terrorists want to come in, and they're halfway intelligent, guess what, they're gonna get in here.

You mean do their jobs and protect the sovereignty and security of the country.

This issue has always had me scratching my head as to why the hell there is even a debate about the importance and right to protect the borders. The Mexican border is an obvious problem but little brother to the North is usually very lax when screening incoming immigrants/visitors to their country. Since 9/11/01 there's almost been an aggressive refusal by their government to help us out by tightening their ports of entry... but, I'm sure that'll bite them in the ass someday and then it'll somehow be our fault.

Very few if any other countries have closed borders. If a terrorist wants in their gonna get in. Were gonna spend billions of dollars putting up fences when the borders are breached daily, hourly. Think about it. Were no longer the land of the free.

Yea same here, but there's still truth to it. Honestly the economy taking a dump on us along with inflation on the rise that's WAY more of a fear in my eyes.
