Hanging with women other than your wife? Posted By: Tyrel On: 07-03-2008 @ 22:16:12 Reply | Edit Hey guys, i've been working 5 hours away from home. Not very busy where i am working and have some spare time. I just have to stay close. Anyway, my wife's hometown is 20 mins from here, so lots of her friends are there. 2 of our bridesmaids live there. How do you feel about hanging out with girls other than your wife? i am a little "iffy" on it. I don't think i would hang out one on one, but if a few people got togethor i see no problem with it. If your relationship is like this then noone will care. I used to hang out with this girl that liked to race rc cars. That is all we ever did was go to the track and race. Posted By: useful_idi0t On: 07-03-2008 @ 22:33:11 Reply | Top | Edit i hope your wife has alot of trust in you, because if she doesnt, this is going to bother the ever loving shit out of her. ive been married almost 4 years and i wouldnt really say i hang out with other women alone, the majority of my female friends are either my wifes best friends who are in relationships or are long time friends of mine who are in relationships. there have been times where ive randomly run into them and hung out with them, but my wife knows about it, and my wife has male friends she hangs out with. but im a monogamist through and through (so is my wife), and my wife knows it. --

My wife sees no issue with it, but there is something in the back of my mind that seems to think there is an issue. We've worked extremely late on many occasions and do hang out a bit and have become like brother and sister. One of my best friends is an ex of mine, and none of my girlfriends since then have had a problem with me hanging out with her. I lost a lot of female friends because a girl I dated freaked out anytime I got a hug, a phone call, or an instant message...I played along for almost 3 years and she turned out to be psycho anyway. After that, I said I'd never lose friends over a girl again. I'm lucky enough to have a wife who 100% trusts me with anyone AND it works both ways too.
