I was told yesterday I should be done with reintergration (civilian retraining LOL) by Oct 2nd. So thats means I'll be drunk in Rome on the 3rd, Drunk in Venice by the 5th. Drunk in Germany till christmas and then back in Alabama just after new year. Unfortunatley that also means I'll be headed to Afghanistan about a year from now. Justin, can't happen cause; 1. you would need a work permit, and they aint easy to get, plus you have to prove you cant get a local to do the job, and finally it would prolly cost $10k. 2. the Government wants them to be poor and stupid, so they can manipulate them easily. 3. they hate anyone who tries to make them follow the rules, and if they are terminated after repeated warnngs then they cry to the Labor authorities, and the Government closes their eyes to the prejudice of the labour courts. 4. cost of living is really high, although we have no income tax, our food products are on average 25 to 35 percent higher than yours, our Electricity rate is now at 0.35 cents per kw/hr. you would be hard pressed to live a moderate lifestyle on less than $60k per year too. sorry
