How frustrating

Woke up this morning to find a post on the local political message board noting that I'm the only candidate in the 6th district here in Jersey mounting any kind of campaign and trying to win, and still noting (correctly) that I don't stand a chance of winning the primary in June.
http://www.politickernj.com/wallye/19712/updated-handicapping-senate-house-primaries
Bugs me because the guy I'm running against stands no chance of winning the general election and he has no intentions of even trying, but because he has the "party line" for the primary, he has good odds of winning the primary. Sad the way our election system works.
I posted a comment over there - if anyone here happens to be a local supporter and wants to chime in, support would be appreciated, otherwise, I understand that no one really cares and I can't blame people for not caring - the system is broken and even if/when I do win - trying to fix the problems won't be easy.

Jim, I kinda feel tha same way here in the Bahamas, and many times think about doing the same thing, however our system is even more "party line" than yours is.
Having said that, I admire you for daring to swim upstream and fight the odds, I often tell people who ask why I tilt at so many windmills that the day I accept complacency and corruption, is the day I hope I die.
Keep up the fight, if you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. --

Jim, keep fighting the good fight! Good luck.
ExtinctWS6 makes a very valid point. The point is that he cannot add anything of value to any thread that he posts in. --

Jim, I've been following the race a little bit... Just checking up on some of the local blogs occasionally.
I understand your frustration. It definitely sucks that all the bureaucracy wins over good platforms. If you don't get it this time around, get a bit more involved in local politics and try again. You really started from zero here, and I think some people are skeptical of that. Just keep fighting!! --

2PieceCrunk, you make a good point that I make a good point. Thus, another useless post --
