Hello, can someone please tell me what size the stock converter is? Is it 300mm? (which I believe is the same as 12" I'm just trying to figure out exactly how much they hold from dry including the converter. If it's 12", it holds 11.4 quarts. Thanks. -- 97 white Z28. All stock converters I've seen on v8's are around 12" diameter. -- 1982 Z28, 383, D-1SC intercooled @ 10psi, trick flow heads, solid roller cam, 3.73's, stall

Fergy, what does that mean? I checked it about 20 times and ended up putting 11 quarts in plus a quart in the TC, so a total of 12. I assume the lines and cooler hold a bit too...
New question...something is chattering a little bit when it's in gear. Sounds like it's coming from the converter, although it's seems to be going away. Is this something to worry about? -- 97 white Z28. Borla/SLP catback, HPP, 160 thermo, Lingenfelter CAI, Harwood 3" cowl induction hood, TR-55 plugs, airfoil,
