Starting a business soon, hoping this is my out!

Well, after much discussion and stress, my therapist told me I need to change careers.

Actually, I have been fighting depression for a while now and finally it came to a head recently and I needed to talk to someone. I've been going to a psychologist (is that right?) and what it boils down to is I am never going to be happy with my career.

The funny thing is, I've been planning on making a move to powdercoating in the next few years anyway, so I had already started collecting equipment and all.

But the ironic thing is, the next day a person I know contacted me about a coatings company they just bought part of. I am still working out all the details, so I won't tell too much till I get everything ironed out, but this has the ability to make me BIG money.

The company has coatings for everything from bedliners to trucks, to zero-bio growth coatings for labs, to foam coatings for docks.

Bedliners for trucks - I'm in the south and know lots of car guys, I can get business that way!

But once I have also been working in the engineering/contracting business for the last 5 years. The company I work for now does pharma exclusively, and design/build as well. We are always doing coatings on the floors of our jobs! I could easily get work through there. Plus, I am on very good terms with my last company as well and can get business through there, too! Hell, they'd love to do business with me again, they even left my office set up just in case I want to come back.....and I left two years ago!

So wish me luck guys, I am very excited about this. This could be my out. I need a change and this looks like it might be it for me!
