It's only a matter of time now...

I only have a few more days until this thing is running.

My Holley 770 Street Avenger, March serpentine pulley system, new valve covers, braised hoses, electric fans, new radiator and custom air cleaner will be installed tomorrow and then the suspension gets dropped about an inch and the larger rear brakes go on.

After that, it is a quick buff and polish and it's go time

With 472cui, I don't know which I will run out of first, money for gas or rear tires.

Bets are being placed on whether my T350 lasts until December when I drop in the 700R4 trans.

Anyone want in on that action?

I say it won't blow up before the 2nd week of November.

So you're betting your th350 is going to blow, and you're planning on replacing it with a 700r4. Hope it's a top of the line 700 you plan on putting in there at the least.

I was about to say the same thing...usually guys switch from the 700 to the TH350, not the other way around.

This is the unit I am looking into for my winter project.

I also do a good bit of highway driving in the summer and having only 3sp with 3:73s gets a little annoying after an hour or two.

I am moving to 3:42(3)? for now until the 4sp auto goes in.

I have a modified shifter linkage and bezel that notched out the shift detent to allow 4sp OD shifting and it retains the 100% stock look, except for the little OD indicator.
