I've been looking at buying a small get away down there. Does anyone know a good area? Or a website that has land listings? I have been looking on interfica.com but there isn't much listed on there.

I would like about a 1 hectacre hobby Finca, so I could grow some coffe and maybe some fruit trees and such. Maybe a small house or just land to build a small house on. Preferably on the Pacific side with an ocean view.

Make sure you use lawyers bothe here AND there.

Cash is king in these purchases. Banks down there will demand prime x 2 (not + 2) at best.

Yeah we are looking at paying cash.

The prices they are asking seem to be about double of what they will actually take, looking at the asking and sale price.

Go for beach access, or at least ocean view.

Anyhting else is hard to rent out if you plan on it.

I have a friend who wants to retire there . I don't know properties , but down there you could probably get an outlet going with cmerc that would cover all your living expenses .

Yeah you can get a dope pad for about 250K

But we are just looking for a piece of land, maybe with a small house. And we'll build a nice house later on, or just have the small house for a winter getaway.

And maybe we'll start a little corner pharmacy for Steve
