Funny true story Posted By: cmerc On: 11-18-2009 @ 09:22:55 Reply | Edit A friend of mine told me this story about a kid, he knows, (he was nine at the time) who is very out going, well mannered, has great communication skills, and not intimidated at all by adults. This kid walked into the bar at the Nassau Yacht Club (where I was former Commodore), there were two men there, one of which is also a former commodore, climbs up on a stool next to them and puts his elbows on the bar. The former commodore, who has a reputation for being grumpy looks at the kid and says “hey, hey, didn't you see the sign on the door?, no children allowed!” The kid apparently looked him in the eye and responded, "I'm a midget, not a kid, and I have every right to be in here" The man was apparently slack jawed for a moment then responded ,"boy, get your ass outta here" --

But having left out that word TRUE, you chillens apparently thought it was a fantasy bedtime story. THe guy, surprised as all hell, says "hey theres no kids in here!" instead of getting scared and runnin...the kid just says "i'm not a kid, im a midget and i have every right to be here" the ex-commodore, surprised as all hell AGAIN, thinks for a second then finally says "boy, get your as out of here" that kid has some balls walkin up to a bar in a yacht club, sitting down next to the ex-commodore, and giving him lip!
