:-)
it was hella fun...over 125 cars were there today...which kinda sucks cause i only got two runs in.
i did get to see a jet powered dragster go...that was fuckin neat!
and saw a few 7 second motorcycles go as well!
as for me...
Run 1...my first time on a dragstrip EVER!
RT: .174 60': 1.987 330: .000 1/8: 8.449 mph: 84.32 1000: 10.969 1/4: 13.074 MPH: 107.19
2 hours later i got my second run lol...
Rt: -.144 60': 2.021 330: 000 1/8: 8.419 mph: 85.18 1000: 10.916 1/4: 13.000 mph: 108.81
vids are coming soon i hope.
mods: pacesetter headers, GMMG exhaust, whisper lid, filter, UD crank pulley, and 3.73 gears...it is a 4l60e car with 112,000 miles on it. race weight was 3660.
i think i found a new sunday activity :-0
on another note...i really wish i had been able to take the sixer to the track :-( at least once. -- Posted By: 2piececrank On: 08-01-2009 @ 00:00:56 Reply | Top | Edit Sarav, how hard is it to follow Nietzsche? ^I've been seeing that for a while now.
They're really expensive if you buy them new, though.
And I haven't tracked any used sets down yet.
I agree with Pocket, you're 60' was damn good for your cherry-popping run. --

It will be your sunday activity till your transmission dies, then you'll get a new tranny/big stall and break your driveshaft. You'll get a new DS, only to break your rear-end VERY soon after.
It's addicting, but expensive...cocaine is a helluva drug! --

^ I can launch a stick WAY better than I can launch an auto. You can get a feel for traction better with a manual and adjust on the fly...once you lift in an auto, the run is over because it might shift 2 second, etc. -- 2005 CTS-V LS6 M6 13.627@105.14 stock and hot/humid
