Sellers Remorse

2 years ago, about 2 months after buying my Camaro, I sold my '95 firebird. It wasn't my first car but I still loved it. It was a 3.4L 5-speed car with cheap 17's and crappy tires. The only modification to it was a K&N filter. Needless to say, it was slow. I've only seen it once or twice since I sold it and I watched it go by with a heavy heart. Today I saw it sitting out in somebody's yard with a for sale sign on it. It only had 5k more miles on it than when I sold it and they wanted exactly the same amount for it as I sold it for. My wife would never let me buy it back, but for some strange reason I want to. I guess you can never shake the feelings you had for your first f-body, no matter how slow and crappy it was. -- 99 Black Z-28 "Stripper" M6, SS Ram Air Hood, Borla Cat-Back, J&M Strut Tower Brace, B&M Ripper Shifter, Whisper Lid

I keep thinking about selling my car. Parents have been telling me that I will regret it though.. They're telling me just to throw it in storage for a while rather than selling it. --

I'm with the rest of you. A 97 3.8 was my first and ran it up to 135k miles and traded it in. I saw it on the road earlier this year...I flagged him down at a red light. Found out it had just over 200k miles on it and still running. The guy had 2 small kids in the back and seemed pretty happy with it...still had my rigged up exhaust on it. -- 2005 CTS-V LS6 M6 13.627@105.14 stock and hot/humid

Sarav, how hard is it to follow Nietzsche? I read Machiavelli's The Prince earlier this year, and the only thing that was clear was to not trust mercenary infantry while fighting on the peninsula.

I'm still driving my truck...still my first and only vehicle. The more I drive it the more I think I have to keep it. I found a note the other day on the window that said something like 'If you want to sell this truck, call Tony at ###-###-#.' The note's still sitting on the dresser. I could come up with a long list of problems with it right now, but I couldn't part with it. -- 96 Chevy S-10 4.3 LITERS OF FURY!!!

I used to see my first fbody every now and then but have not seen it for years now. I got it when i was 16. It was a 87 z28 with a 305 auto. It was pretty rough but i loved it.(most of the time) I would probably buy it back if i saw it for sale. -- Sold 95 Black Z28,M6,Hooker shorty headers, Hooker 3inch catback, flowtech cutout, Spec stage 3 clutch,K&N Cai,Granatelli Maf,1LE Inatke Elbow, airfoil, 160 degree thermostat,LT4 KM, MSD wires,NGK TR6 plugs, short throw shifter,NX wet kit 100 shot, MSD window switch, N.O.S. purge
