on a more serious note, I have been stopped 5 1/2 years now, stopped once before for 6 years.
Take this advice, NEVER NEVER EVER put a cigarette, or cigar in your mouth ever again, I can 99% assure you you'll start again.
make it a personal fight between you and the cigs, thats what worked for me both times.
Finally, I found the hardest time to control the urge was first thing in the morning, so I slept with a nicotene patch, and took it off right after I was fully awake. I did that for three days, it only takes a fwe days for the physical addiction to pass, then it's a mental game.
Good luck to ya. --

this morning was by far the worst from anytime Ive attempted in the past. I went about 3 hours before I could find the time to hit the pharmacy and pick up the patch. I woke up this morning and decided I didnt wanna smoke another one and threw away half a carton. -- lsxltx.com

Hang in there, I quit for the final time back in November of '04.
It's not easy but you can do it.
I agree, make it personal between you and the cigs.
I probably tried stopping 15-20 times, near the end I was smoking almost 3 packs a day.
What got me through it was ... "I DON'T EVERY WANT TO GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN". Worked for me.
Once you quit, listen to what cmerc said, don't ever put another cig in your mouth.
If you do, the addiction starts all over again.
Good luck, make it happen this time! -- 94 Formula M6 - Jackie - I love my Formy!

Sarav, how hard is it to follow Nietzsche? I read Machiavelli's The Prince earlier this year, and the only thing that was clear was to not trust mercenary infantry while fighting on the peninsula.
