Interesting Valvetrain Vids

I've always heard that the rocker roller tip slides instead of rolls. Here's a vid of a custom setup just for determining just such things. He's using a stroboscope to "slow down" the motion. I was always skeptical about the tip roller not moving at all, so it's good to see this.

He's also got a bunch of vids studying valve float. The main surprising thing (to me) was that it's basically just valve bounce instead of some sort of valve loft/coil bind. Maybe I simply didn't make the connection before. Here's his first valve float vids.

i believe pac springs has some videos showing that stuff as well, pretty cool to see all slowed down
