Sarav, how hard is it to follow Nietzsche? I read Machiavelli's The Prince earlier this year, and the only thing that was clear was to not trust mercenary infantry while fighting on the peninsula.

Well Thanks All!

I know I'm not posting on the site often these days but I do still read many times daily and do my best to keep the site up and running for everyone.

In case anyone cares - my 98 is back at CAM and Jeff is hard at work to fix all of the problems. That APE motor had to be completely rebuilt following a tear down after the timing chain broke (with 3 miles on it) presumably because they seem to have hammered on the crank gear and cracked it. The valves in the heads were screwed up and some clearances were way off.

As additional/new work, I've switched to Strange front and rear brakes, manual steering, manual brakes. The guys at BMR hooked me up with a GREAT deal and I can't say enough good things about Brett and Dennis down there who were sponsors here WAYYYY back in the early days of the site. I've also gone to a no abs setup, dropped the gear vendors OD unit, dropped the front bumper support, (using a Burkhart Chassis support), dropped the remaining pieces of the HVAC stuff and some misc other items that are/were in the way or otherwise not needed (like airbags... so overrated!) Our goal is to maintain the factory dash/look of the car but remove as much weight as possible/clean up the engine bay to it looks pretty. I already had a Grant steering wheel on it/no driver's airbag. We still plan to run the big direct port n2o kit on it but at this point Jeff is just getting the motor back in the car so it's a long way to go before it's a running/race ready car again.

Aside from that - same ol' crap. I've stayed mildly active with local political action, which is frustrating at times because NJ is so corrupt and the system is full of the career politician types who don't really want to make anything better/different or represent the people over the special interest groups or party leaders. With a congressional election next year, I'm still undecided if I'll attempt to run again at this point.

And finally... I'm still with my same GF... she bought me a Ruger 10/22 rifle for my b-day. I think really she was just tired of me spending money on more expensive, bigger ammo... of course now I need a scope , some extra magazines, maybe an AR15 style stock, maybe even a way cool light... ohh how she helps me save money...
