there is a rally america race this weekend up in bimidji mn. i was planning on going to the cities friday and saturday anyway and just got invited to go up to this. it's another 4 hours past the cities so i haven't decided yet.
not sure if the girl i was going to go hang out with in the cities is up for driving another 4 hours with me to hike into the woods and watch some cars speed by lola guy a work with is going to be racing though, so that's kinda cool.
anyway, i was just seeing if anyone has ever gone to one? all i've ever seen is stuff online and on tv, seems like it would be fun...

So did you go? I went to the X-Games rally racing a few weeks ago near here. That was more Rallycross though, so they're in pretty much one place for most of it. You'd be hiking out to the middle of nowhere to watch one corner probably. Might be interesting.

Rally racing is something that I think would be really fun to participate in, and horribly boring to go and try to watch. Hiking up to nowhere to watch your favorite driver pass by once just doesn't seem worth it. I'd love to drive in a race though.
