wow thats retarded my brothers dealership (hes the GM there) have been doing that for at least a year with cars like vipers that just sit in the showroom

It's common practice at the dealerships I've worked at. If a car sits on the lot for too long or it's a highly valuable car(such as a 2002 Camaro SS 35th Edition with 3500 miles) then it goes to eBay. The Camaro sold to some guy in Arizona, a couple of other nice, low-mileage cars like that have gone to other places around the country.

This is an interesting development and I'm wondering how dealerships are going to deal with this. Internet sales has been around for a while, but it's mostly known as where you want to work if you want to kill your career in car sales. I wonder if this will help things at all.

i guess more sales = more cars = more factories = more jobs.

so it may be a win win, may be less salesman out there tho..

but i think it will have a greater job ratio if it is a success.
