Sense I started working at LatemodelRestorationSupply theres been a lot of bench racing and testosterone flying around. Jarred, whom I'm talking about has a 06 GT, 5spd with mild cams, p&p heads, x-pipe and cai. He ran a 12.5 @114 not too long ago with DR's so I wasnt expecting to win. So on our lunch break we roll raced from about 35mph to 120 and I had him at my rear fender both times. My boss followed us and got the second one on video so I'll post it up tomorrow.
My car: 93 Z auto, LT4 HCK, Lt's &3.73's. 127K miles on factory long block and trans.
How can I moddestly rub this in his face? For weeks ive been hearing about how my LT1 is "gonna get drugg by the 3-valve"
Here is Jarreds car: http://www.flickr.com/photos/latemodelresto/
The black GT with SVe wheels.

talk about how old pushrod technology is, how its a miracle your car even runs.
must have been a fluke because that mustang is over 13 years newer and has twice the cams! twice the cams and 1.5 times the valves! it must be at least 2.5 times as fast! --

Idunno man, a 12.5 @ 114 mph (1.6 60ft) seems like he could be running low 12's or 11's. I think those are decent times for the work he has done.
What can I do to get my 60ft down. 3200 stall? I'll be on a set of ET Streets.
I left work after the race to do some school work. Later that night I ran into another guy I work with during our class break. I said "Devo what was Jarred saying after the race".
Devo: "I asked him what the hell happened we heard you lost" and he said- dude I dont make power till up top" We both belly laughed. Guess you have to know the guy, Jarred is the mouth at work.

12.5 at 114 doest seem like a hard top charger. the et is due to the 60ft. --

Offer to help him work on his car. there must be SOMETHING wrong with it! Its a 3valves per cylinder and TWO CAMS! there has to be something wrong why he lost to the ancient pushrod technology. --
BOOSH thats all you will hear, as I fly through the air. ICE FLOW!
