Typical for me.
At the plate: 6/6 with 3 HRs (all to left center,) two triples, and a single.
At least 4 errors in the field, and many more playable balls I didn't get to (they made me play shortstop.) I warned them that I can only play outfield and that I'm still shaky out there, but nobody listened.
I might be the skinniest and smallest DH ever created. -- Me > Tyrel > Nate > Pongo > pirate > three dead $5 hookers > Dubya > Pauly Shore > Meg Griffin > A-Rod > Michael Moore > Jimmy Fallon > crunk

Thats awesome man. I wish my joints still allowed me to play. I'm only 27, but the years I did play ball took its toll on me..lol. After I threw my arm out pitching in highschool, I played in some tourney leagues filling in here and there since I couldn't travel too far. If my shoulder and knee ever get better, I'd love to get back into that again.
Do yall have local adult leagues or do you the traveling tournament thing?

You should've seen the shit I was talking after taking my friend deep in the top of the 1st. Granted, we don't throw much other than fastballs, sometimes really shitty changeups or really bad curveballs (you should see mine, it's LOL bad,) but the wall was still about 260-270ft to left and about 10ft high, and I annihilated it well over in left center.
Then I went out in the field and promptly fielded a grounder and damn near threw the ball in the dugout. You can pretty much picture how the rest of the day went for me defensively. -- Me > Tyrel > Nate > Pongo > pirate > three dead $5 hookers > Dubya > Pauly Shore > Meg Griffin > A-Rod > Michael Moore > Jimmy Fallon > crunk

Great. I was feeling a little sick early in the day (it was just a slightly scratchy throat,) but otherwise I was OK, so I ended up going to the gym and playing ball among a couple other things. I stayed super-hydrated all day, but after sitting on my ass for a couple hours at home, I'm dying. Can't breathe, throat killing me, nose running, and I stiffened up bad.
I tried to get up a little while ago and my legs almost collapsed out from under me, I half-fell into a wall.
I definitely shouldn't have played, I'm not moving for a day or two. -- Me > Tyrel > Nate > Pongo > pirate > three dead $5 hookers > Dubya > Pauly Shore > Meg Griffin > A-Rod > Michael Moore > Jimmy Fallon > crunk

You know it, hot stuff.
I've never even swung a corked bat, I've heard they give you a lot more bat speed, but since the bat is less dense, wouldn't that sacrifice power? I don't swing super hard or fast, I just have good balance and hand-eye coordination and can load up on my back leg for power.
Why that hand-eye coordination never translated into being able to throw a ball anywhere close to where I want to, I don't know...probably the same reason why I have accuracy and consistency issues in bowling. I was a good shooter in basketball, though. Weird. -- Me > Tyrel > Nate > Pongo > pirate > three dead $5 hookers > Dubya > Pauly Shore > Meg Griffin > A-Rod > Michael Moore > Jimmy Fallon > crunk

Basketball is different though, you aren't "chucking" the ball as hard as you are in baseball/bowling, if that makes sense.
How are you with a football? --

I throw a football like a girl.
Meh, it's probably not that bad, but it's nothing close to a "good" arm. -- Me > Tyrel > Nate > Pongo > pirate > three dead $5 hookers > Dubya > Pauly Shore > Meg Griffin > A-Rod > Michael Moore > Jimmy Fallon > crunk

All through highschool when I was pitching, I couldn't throw a football to save my life. Now that I'm out of that routine, I can throw a football accurately with a perfect spiral and long distance...funny how that works. -- 2005 GMC 1500HD 6.0L, 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix ..only own GM and always will

I'm actually the same way. I could never throw a football while I was playing other sports... now I can throw a football pretty damn well. --

Yeah I use to pitch and couldn't throw a football 20 feet. Now I'm still not that great, but I can throw it a lot farther, and sometimes it's a spiral. -- 96 Chevy S-10 4.3 LITERS OF FURY!!!

See, I can't pitch either, though. Well, I can get good heat on the ball, but I may very well may kill someone in the process because I have no earthly idea where it's going.
In the game the other day, I made one perfect chest-high bullet throw to first from deep short. That was it. Every other throw was high, low, three feet to either side, nearly in the dugout, whatever. When I play in the outfield I consider it a win if the cutoff man has to take less than three steps to get to one of my tosses. -- Me > Tyrel > Nate > Pongo > pirate > three dead $5 hookers > Dubya > Pauly Shore > Meg Griffin > A-Rod > Michael Moore > Jimmy Fallon > crunk
