if you wanted a fuel sipper why not go with a smaller 4cyl then?
those cars even with the baby engine don't get good gas mileage.
funny that you say you would never own a pontiac again and you bought a chrysler, have fun lol! -- 94 Formula A4 For Sale: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/vehicles-sale-non-lsx-powered/1040449-1994-firebird-formula-a4-excellent-condition-82-3k-miles.html

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the RT get roughly the same gas mileage as the V6? --

They're not dropping the Pontiac line. They are just changing the line to be what it use to be...high end luxury cars. Atleast thats what I heard last.

You do realize that almost evey car out there that has different motor options get nearly the EXACT same milage no matter what ngine you get? when I bought my wifes Altima she wanted the 4cyl because "it got better milage 20/30" and the 6 cyl was rated for 19/29. well guess what< it gets 22-23 city and up to 33 on the highway 3.5 V6 250hp -- John

The 2.7 V6 from Chyrsler has got to be one of the worst v-6s of all time from my personal exp as a mechanic. We did a Jasper Engine replacement in an Intrepid and were told to remove oil cooler system and to let customer know to keep documentation of oil changes and the oil would need to be changed every 1500 miles for Jasper to honor the warranty. WTF? Every other Jasper motor we have done calls for 3000 miles not 1500. -- 94Z 12.993@102.11 1.72 60' Vig3200, 3.73s, PS Longtubes TDs, H-pipe, bullets dumped and a Madztune.

this is funny because it's true! My 350Z gets about 23 mpg on average but will get close to 30 on the highway. My buddy bought an 06 altima with the 2.5 because he thought he would save gas. My V6 gets better mileage than his 4 cyl. I'm thinking it's because the 4 cyl has to work hard to get that larger car moving. --
