why the formula is for sale...

Posted By: ThumperNC24 On: 01-03-2009 @ 19:15:10         Reply | Edit
Well, I bought and LS1 trans am 6 speed, thats why. Got a sweet deal that I couldn't pass up

99 Trans Am with 89k miles on it (well, after the drive back to OH it has 89, haha)

I drove down to South Carolina from NE Ohio and picked it up on Friday.

Friday night I started teardown on both it and my formula to transfer over my Koni Shocks and Pro Kit Springs as well as my wheels. Finished today and got pics as the sun was going down.

and now here she is

She also has a fair bit done to her

FLP Long Tube Headers
Corsa Catback Exhaust System
BMR Strut Tower Brace
BMR Adjustable Lower Control Arms (Rear)
K&N Cold Air Intake
LS6 intake manifold
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft (230/232 .595 Lift on 114 LSA)
T/A Girdle (Rear End Brace)
Richmond 4.10 Gears (Rear End)
Cartek Stage III clutch
B&M Ripper Short Shifter
Line Lock
Comp 918s Valve Springs
Titanium Retainers
Hardened Pushrods
NGK TR55 Spark Plugs
ASP Underdrive Pulley
Kenny Brown Double Diamond Subframe Connectors
160 Degree Thermostat
Super Hawk Hood Functional Ram Air Hood with Functional Heat Extractors
Silve Face Gauges
Custom Embroidered Firebird Headrests

and then I just put these on:

UMI Adjustable Pan Hard Ba
Eibach LT1 Pro-Kit Lowering Springs
Koni Sport Adjustable Shocks
18" HP Evo Wheels

this thing is just nasty fast to me and with the suspension is it just a sinister machine, I think I am in love!

more pictures can be found here

and here is the fomula too with the OZ wheels the trans am came with and back to stock shock and springs

I don't know what it is going to cost to get the flywheel resurfaced but it doesn't seem to really be bothering it to much right now.

the owner seemed like a really nice guy and this car is super clean, the under side is totally rust free, it is like it has never seen weather.

the car title was like november of 2005 with 82k miles on it.

it only has 89k now and 800 was it going from SC to ohio, so its not like this car has been driven a lot.
