Hey guys..I need some help with something and Im hoping everyone will come through for me.

For those of you who dont know the whole story, (I know Jackie, Justin, enzo1267 and a few others do) I will give you the quick version of it.

A few months ago, I bought an expensive Movado watch from what seemed like a reputable wholesaler on Ebay with good feedback. The guy smoked me BAD, and I was a victim of mail fraud to the punishment of a couple hundred dollars. Since then, I have notified Ebay, SafeHarbor, the Online Fraud Protection Group, the guys local police department, my local police department, and everyone else I could think of who could possibly help me. No one has been able to do anything. Some of you may remember at the bottom of this thread when I recieved some exciting information...

The guys home number was finally discovered in this thread thanks to enzo1267. I called him this afternoon from an unlisted number and spoke with a foreign lady who lives at his address (I later learned it is his Mother-Lida Gasper, who is as much of a lowlife as he is). She informed me that it was my tough luck, and that (I quote) "There is nothing you can do sucker, just TRY and get your money back. Sucks to be you hahahahaha. Id like to see the police do something about this, you have no proof of anything!". Needless to say, I am more then infuriated.

The money dosent even matter to me as much as the principle anymore. This scumbag stole money from me and is living everyday life thinking he got away with it, and that I am just some poor sucker he ripped off that he will never meet face to face...

My favor to my fbody.com brothers is this. I need some payback against this guy. I need payback in every form in every way short of showing up at his house! From phone calls to prank messages to newsletters to magazine subscriptions to pizza to chinese food to anything creative you can think of without getting in trouble. This guy is going to be in for it. In this next thread, myself and all of you guys showed what creativity we had by coming through for another member who was being harrased with prank calls.

I have helped more people in the past then i can remember over the years, and for those of you who know me ( i have been around a very long time, I just dont have a sig pic! lol), you know I would do anything I can to help out another member on this site. Many of you met me at TITE. I have met many of you at the track. Many of us talk on the IM, and many of you guys are like brothers to me. Please guys, I need some help and satisfaction out of all this. A few of my close friends on here offered to take a road trip with me to this guys house. That will definitely be a last resort...for right now as Ricky said, this is more fun, and I want so see this guy squirm a little...

LOL, thanks guys. Jim I made the unfortunate mistake of paying with a money order. I ALWAYS pay with paypal, but this guy seemed pretty straight up, lived pretty close to me, and had great feedback so I trusted him. Last time i will EVER send a money order to someone I dont know on Ebay.

Lesson hard learned. Contacting the local members is way up on my list. If it comes down to this, me, my entire fraternity, and as many of my fbody.com bros who would like to help may be taking a roadtrip.

Jim and everyone, thanks for the help guys, you have no idea how much its appreciated. Im going to owe you all big time for this when its over.

same shit happened to me, $450 via Money Order, only one I ever sent... for a BB hood...

i even filed a lawsuit and sent the guys local sherriff out to serve um with papers... unfortunately, they were served to an abandoned building...

Hahahahahhahaha, alright well I was on the relay service, turns out the number you have is for his home phone number that he doesn't live at anymore. It is for his parent's place, I was on the relay service for more than 20 minutes with them, just confusing the hell out of them. Trying to get his new phone number for you, but it seems that they were very picky about giving his business number up. I pulled every trick in the book to get that number for more fun, but without any luck. I even talked to them like I knew Eric well and I even used his mom's name to try and get on their good side without any luck. Well at least I pissed them off by waking them up at 12:30. Muhaha isnt the internet fun!

LOL, oh trust me, he still lives there bro. Her story changed several times while I was talking to her because when I finally got down to the fact that her son stole money from me ( I was very polite up till now) she got very defensive, and told me that I didnt know what I was talking about, and that the police couldnt do ANYTHIGN to get her son in trouble, he is a "legit Ebay Businessmen". (This guy has done this to 4 other members since me. I have been contacted by several people dealing with the same problem and who are also fighting for their money back attempting to track this peice of shiit down...) The women then laughed and hung up on me at the end of the call.

He still lives there, before I mentioned that he frauded me I played it cool like I just knew her son and was calling to get in contact with him, her response to my question of, "Does a Mr. Eric Gasper still live here??" brought a "Yes he does, should be home in a few actually. Who is this?".

Thats when I started to explain myself before she revealed what a lowlife her whole family is.

Haha, yea she must have had her story straight by then. She told me he doesn't come around until the weekends and that I had to give him my number in order for him to call me back. They were talking to the IP Relay service person like they were a 3rd, party too which i found funny. Also I found it very humorous that 3 different times people called and they put me on hold and quickly came back. They are in bed.... sleeping now. Bring them hell!!!

The Secret Service handled my internet fraud complaint. This was when someone tried to scam me by buying my '95 Trans Am. I was asking $10k for the car, and they said they'd send me a "cashier's check" for $18k. I'd deposit the check, take out the $10k for the car, and wire them the $8k to defray the cost of someone coming to pick up & deliver the car to "the buyer".

This was fishy from the get-go, so I decided to string it along and see how far they would go. One morning, my wife calls me at work and says we got an overnight FedEx with an $18k cashier's check in it.

To make a long story short, the check was counterfeit. I called around to various government agencies, and was told that the Secret Service handled these matters. I took the mailer, counterfeit cashier's check, and all the e-mails between me & the scammers, to the Secret Service. The agent I talked to said that internet fraud is so huge, it's mind-boggling. The biggest problem is that a lot of the scams are run from "off-shore", and many of those governments will not cooperate with the U.S. government to prosecute the "big fish" who are running the scams.

I'd get ahold of the local Secret Service branch, and forward all your information to them. Good luck.

In reply to the person who had a scam run on them by the purchase of a car....

I put my car on a few free online classifieds, as I also did with my girlfriends car. We both got replies within hours of posting them and after e-mailing back and forth we noticed the same thing coming from what appeared to be two different people. Fortunately her mom works at a bank and said that it was a scam and that after they send you the money order and have your car they cancel payment on the money order. You then have no car, no money!

guys, his user ID is jewelerycashflow, but he was kicked off of Ebay a few weeks ago, so he cant run any more auctions. (I have been clicking on his feedback every few days since my auction ended for updates. One day when I logged in his user name came up "No longer a registered user". He has acquired so many negative feedbacks since September when he began this scam its incredible. I guess they finally noticed and got rid of him. I had like 4-5 Ebay members email me asking for help and if i had talked to him yet or received my item. Apparently he just set up his account and his good history in the beginning to build some trust for when he began scamming. Unfortunatley, in my case, it worked...

You guys have seriously blown me away with this so far. I was talking to Andrew about this the other day, and I had thought that with the help of a few people, we would be able to piss this guy off for a few days, maybe even a couple weeks. I signed up on this site just for this post. Somone posted this on a local board. I had nothing to do tonight so I started calling and playing journey songs as loud as my speakers would go.

I played wheel in the sky, you just died in my arms tonight, and eye of the tiger.

Half way into eye of the tiger (had it on speaker phone) this guy picked up and started yelling at me. After I would say something I would crank the music into the phone untill he had stopped talking. He wanted to "beat my ass" and I was a pu$$y for calling him. I imformed him he was a Pu$$ for not answering the door (when FSANE went to his house).

This guy is a tool bag......had a accent to...sounded italian or something.

Mike, If i get my money back, I would be HAPPY, and I mean that sincerely, for this to stop.

This was only posted because extreme circumstances require extreme measures. When 2 different police departments were perfectly okay to sit there and tell me that "Theres really not much we can do about this. We try not to get involved with Ebay cases. You might just want to accept your loss and be more careful this time", it was time to step up.

Keep in mind too..this isnt something that was posted by a 15 year old losing his temper after a week of not getting an email back from this guy. If you read the earlier posts that I posted links to in the opening thread, you will see that this has been going on for MONTHS. I had almost given up when enzo1267 posted that info and gave me some hope again.

I hope that this does not get vicious, becauase all of you who know me know that I am not like that at all, and that this guy getting hurt over a few hundred dollars would be the last thing i want. I would just like my money back, plain and simple.

No offense taken Mike, I appreciate everything you have done so far.

I do want everyone to know though what my intent was with this thread, and I hope that anyone who responds here respects the real reason and motive of why it was posted.

First I left a message of me screaming like an idiot and speaking random spanish. Not sure why, couldn't think of anything. Then I got a brainstorm and decided to act as a federal agent.

This is what I said to his answering service:

Here's an idea, someone could put up signs on trees and poles on his street, hand them out to neighbors, put on car windshields. It might make an impact on him. Might even embarass him or his family enough to make good on his scam. Kinda like wanted posters, with details of the crime!

Guys, this has been another awesome night, but after one more (or maybe 5

) quick call to our "friend" I am going to head to bed finally, I have been talking on the IM to new friends and refreshing this thread all night!!!

It is now 2AM in the morning and i have to be up at 5 for work, its going to be a loooong day! lol

I got bored with journey so I went over to www.freestuff.com and signed him up for every news letter and junk mail list.....took me at least 30 min.......there are alot.

Pick up desperate men in chat rooms and invite them over to his address. Plaster his number all over some singles ads. Flyers? Photoshop him into some bad porn and get a staple gun ready.

I'll agree with many sbove, I haven't read the entire
thread, but there are some pranks that are mostly hurting business owners.

I'd stop sending pizza to the guys house and things
of that nature.

It's not unheard of for IP's to get traced. It
would suck to have the law show up at your door.

Yeah guys, I dont want anyone to get in trouble for this so the pizza calls and chinese food calls to the same places might have to stop...lol, that guy has gotten more takeout in 3 days then i have ordered through 4 years of college..

I dont want to mess up someones business though because the same calls keep coming in...

Like Blue said, there is nothing the police will do. Legally, I have almost no chance whatsoever of getting my money back unless this guy willingly hands it back to me. Even my fraternity brother (A cop in Morris Plains, NJ) who although has no jurisdiction over this whatsoever, was still willing to help me through this has told me that there is almost no chance I can legally get my money back. Cops view alot of internet crimes as a waste of time because they are so common nowadays. Believe me, if i believed I had any other chance of getting my cash back guys, it would NOT have come to this after over 3 months, and this thread would not have been posted.

I guess I am hoping that this guy will crack, and that somehow we will get some cash back out of this one way or another. If we did, I would be MORE then happy to take as many of you guys as possible for a night out of celebrating and hanging out!

Like I said in my last post, just please be careful guys. I dont think ANY of us could have POSSIBLY guessed just how big this would become (it has spread nationwide across the net!), and I dont want anyone to get in trouble for this in any way.

Tino, no one would do anything... Like i said earlier, anyone who knows me knows that I am not a nasty guy, most of my friends would say that I am pretty friendly and easygoing! I NEVER in a million years expected everyone to come out of the woodwork to help me like this. Peole have postively blown me away, and its beginning to feel as though the entire country is in on this trying to help me. This thread was not done by a 15 year old losing his temper. I have been fighting with this guy, the police, safeharbor, ebay, the online fraud protection group, and even the postal service to get my money back for MONTHS. After having two police departments tell me to forget about it and to "be more careful next time", I decided to give something else a shot. That was the last straw in my opinion, and you are very right, I am in this for a few hundred dollars now with all the money this guy has cost me, and it is VERY hard to swallow. This thread was long time comin, and im sure NO one thought that this would become as big as it has.
(I am hearing that this thread is now almost famous across the net! lol)

By the way, I now have a file about a half an inch thick of all the paperwork regarding this case. I might as well use it to light my fireplace for all the good it has done me.. (The Ebay Auction, Safeharbor files, Safeharbor updates, Safeharbor reports, Appraisals I paid for from jewlers (to fight with Ebay for a refund and let them know my complaint is legit), Ebays emails regarding fraud protection, Contact information, Ebays fraud department emails, Emails to Eric Gasper, The money order reciept, my reciept from the outside 3rd parties I have paid to help me with this, and many more.

Mike: With as widespread as this hs gotten, it might be possible to finally get some press coverage on this guy. Write a letter to the local new teams. Most of them have a "Problem Solvers" type group that may be interested in this. Make sure you let them know how mayn people you know of that this guy has ripped off, and let them know that the police are ignoring the issue, and that there are however many message boards/people that have become aware of it. Just make sure you dont get a list of sites. We dont want anyone getting in trouble, so links to this/other threads wont be a good idea. If they are interested enough, the reporters will bird dog him until they can actually get him in person.

I cant believe this moron hasnt changed his phone number yet.

I second what someone said about editing signatures out of the posts, if people could go back through, edit their post, delete their sig (or at the very least the pictures in the sig) and then check the box for no signature to be viewed it might free up a little bandwidth. This thread is friggen HUGE! Might want to lock this one, make it a sticky, and start another one just to free up some bandwidth. I'm guessing only mike or mods can do that.
