i found this universial electric water pump at summit, http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MRG-4333
Any one try this and have any opinions about it, or try any other electric water pumps? Just curious because im looking at doing this soon. --

I've seen those on cars at the strip, but I'm not sure I'd like to run that on a streetable car. I'm thinking it doesn't move that much water, but the one I'm using rated at 35gph works great! -- 1982 Z28, 383, D-1SC intercooled @ 15psi, trick flow heads, solid roller cam, 3.73's, th400,

That kit will be hard to mount on a serpentine setup as the waterpump is used in nearly every possible configuration
Also, where would you put it? Theres not much room
TGO members either convert to V-belt accessories or use an electric pump with an idler pulley

I ran an electric pump on my 383 with a serpintine belt. I took the serpententine brackets off a 4.6L(?) V6 and just skipped the water pump. I did need to do a little homework on my own to find a belt that was the right size.
