So i have usually used MSD 8.5mm super conductor wires and have been pretty pleased, but its time for new wires, and im looking to spend roughly the same as i did on the msd's (70-80 bucks for 8) Just curious what you guys think i should give a look for the best bang for the buck --

I use Jeg's branded 8.0mm wires on my 89 IROC and 95 Z28. They have been fantastic for the 40 bucks they costed shipped. Although I don't drive my IROC yet, I put them on my 95 and ran them for a good year or more when I decided to put them on my IROC since they worked well.
I'm not sure which one you'll need, I ordered the wrong set, a set for an HEI setup, so I had to call back and get them to send me a coil wire. That ended up costing me 12 bucks. They wanted to charge me 12 bucks plus 15 bucks shipping $27. I said that's bullshit, I can get a whole set of correct wires for 40 bucks shipped. The rep finally sent it for the 12 dollar cost with no shipping. So you may would want to call them to make sure you get the correct set, but they are well worth the 29.99 plus shipping.
I've had bad luck with Taylor wires.
Good Luck
