just got around to installing the new set of Dyno Don's headers, with new gaskets, arp header bolts, a magnaflow cat, etc. worked out good, a few kinks, removed the A.I.R. system cuz it was ghey, and cleaned up a lot of wires .. was a good project.. replaced my edelbrock TES headers which were leaking like crazy too

my younger cousin james helped me, hes in 2 photos, he was a big help, we got the job done!

first are the old cruddy headers, then the installation of the new ones, along with the air system removal, then some photos of the Dyno Don's headers and y pipe

the car is road ready now!

the edelbrocks leaked like crazy, they had the air tube crap on em, turned blue.. the car has a 2" + drop on the front end. long tubes would be rediculous, and not worth the hassel< dyno dons are coated< clean< and work great for #rd gens with spark plug access< the flow is etter than the edelbrocks too> its not a race car< its a street car

All stuff could be removed/fixed

That kind of logic would mean people would buy new cars instead of changing the oil

What are you going to do with the old headers?

I might know someone who's interested.

I cut and removed the tubes from the threaded plug, then had my dad weld them closed.

This is a show and tell thread and I gave an opinion. If you dont like it then ignore it

There are multiple ways of plugging A.I.R.

Dyno dons headers are a significant upgrade from his edelcrap headers.Mostly the 1 3/4"primaries.The dual 2.5" manderal bent y-pipe into single 3" is really good as well.Bolts right up with no ground clearance issues. Those headers will support alot more HP than hes making. As far as shorties go dyno dons and the hooker 2055`s are probably your best choice.
