Anybody got a ballpark weight of 91 RS w/ T-Tops?
I always assumed they were around 3400 lbs. Has a 350 & 700R4...

Alot...haha...but na id say around 3100 would be a good starting point...let me guess are u doing some tuning?...if you want a really good reading heres some good advice. I took my car up to the local parts yard and asked the guy if i could drive my car on the drive on scale to see what it weighs...he let me for free(he just wanted to hear it rev up)...i got to do it while i was in it and while i was out to see what i run with...i got a reading down to the thousands! That was on my old nova tho..but ya id start with around 3100 for decent guess

^WAAAYYYYYY off

More likely about 3600 to 3700 lbs with gas in it.

AC and the ttops add 70lbs alone.

hmmmm...that would explain why my car feels heavy for "3100"

Maybe with a 6 you have 200lbs less material but I don't think it would be that much of a difference.

V6's are usually stripped down versions so they lack other options further dropping weight

Hopefully Sunday I can throw it on the scales and find out for sure. I've got to get a couple other cars out of the shop so there's room to get the Camaro in. Will post the weight.

Curiosity got the best of me and I threw it on the race car scales. I just had to do a little work. There's still 2 cars I'm working on in the shop, so I had to drag the jack and scale box through the snow to my mother in law's garage where the Camaro is tucked away for the winter. Here's what I found.
W/ out driver: 3360 lbs
W/ driver: 3565 lbs
Rear: 42.3%
Left: 51.8%
Cross: 48.5%
T-Tops: 17 lbs each
I'm guessing the tank is around 50%...sending unit crapped out. So you can easily add 60 lbs to the total for a full tank of fuel.
Car has no A/C or cruise. All factory TBI components and wiring have been removed.
355, iron Dart heads, aluminum intake. Shorty headers w/ 3" single and Flowmaster.
700R4 w/ stock converter.
Factory 16" aluminum wheels. 245/50/16 tires.
I don't have subframe connectors on yet, so that will add some weight. Will be dang close to 3700 lbs with full tank and connectors.
I'm shopping for transmission upgrades and when the discussion got to converters, the weight issue came up. Now I know. Thanks for the input guys.
