th400 specialist?

I got one in my iroc. I have not bothered to hook up the kickdown switch. whenever I race it, i usually just shift manually. With the Stage 2 B&M kit installed, it still shifts extremely tame. Do I just need to hook up the switch for the hard shifts i want?

yeah i did some more research and it looks like it does effect shift firmness. I bet its gonna slam like a champion now!
