A/C condenser install

Posted By: QuentsIROC On: 08-17-2008 @ 21:48:10         Reply | Edit
Okay, when I got the car, everything under the hood was disassembled. So, I'm putting everything back together and I'm down to A/C condenser, radiator, fan.

What holds the A/C condenser in place in front of the radiator?? I know how to install the radiator and see the bottom mounts for the condenser, but what keeps the condenser in place at the top? I have nothing as the car was pretty much stripped under the hood.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Two rubber mounts similar to the ones on the bottom hold it in place
The radiator sandwiches it to the front of the chassis

I thought perhaps the radiator sandwiched it to the front, but also thought that since the space between the radiator and the chasis is wider than the width of the condenser and would allow the condenser to move a bit at the top, there must be some sort of brackets/holders at the top. Guess not.

Thanks for the info.
