86 IROC Posted By: 44duff On: 08-08-2008 @ 15:52:06 Reply | Edit Looking to buy a 3rd generation F body. Not familiar with all the options that they had throughout the years. I found one that's been repainted and is in good shape. Has a late '60 chevy truck engine in it (307), 700 trans and open diff. There are no emblems on the exterior, so I don't know if it was an IROC or Z originally. It's had a fair amount of work done to it and, like I said, is in good shape. It does say Z28 on the dash and has t-tops. I'm not really concerned about originality becuase I will be swapping the engine anyway. Just looking for opinions about the price and if it really is an IROC. The seller is asking $4000.00 or best offer. Thanks for any thoughts. Will try to get a pic of it this weekend. Also, I'm in the process of cleaning by brother in law's '82 Camaro that's been mothballed for about 15 yrs. The plastic around the back seat and in the hatch area is basically white instead of blue.
