hey, im new here. my buddy told me about this board and i thought id give it a try. problem is my fuel injected 87 camaro ran fine today. drove it all over town. i stopped at my moms and when i went back to start it, it started and immediatly died. then i found out i could keep it running if i didn't let off the gas. thought that was wierd cuz its injected. someone thought it might be my throttle position sensor. that right? any help appreciated!

TPI or TBI induction?

Check it with a digital voltmeter. Should read .5 volts with the throttle closed and more than 4 volts wide open. Check it with the car not running but key in the on position.

Helps to have a buddy open and close the throttle for you while you take readings. If you open it from closed to fully open slowly the voltage should rise smoothly. If it drops out or jumps around it may need to be replaced.

Good Luck

Throttle Positioning Sensor sounds like a likely culprit yeah. Have any trouble codes?
