91 GTA forced induction

Posted By: 91_GTA_TransAm On: 04-27-2008 @ 14:28:07         Reply | Edit
I am wanting to put some type of forced induction on my '91 GTA such as a supercharger or turbo. It has the 5.7L TPI engine. Does anybody know what would be the best type of forced induction for my car? And does anybody know where maybe I could get a supercharger or turbo for my car the cheapest? Thanks for your help, ~Dallas~

Procharger is probably the easiest, most effective way to go. Probably around $3000 for the base D-1SC kit, and another $800-$1000 to include the intercooler and tubing. It'd likely be the same cost or cheaper and more effective to do an intercooled turbo setup of some sort, but more work especially if you make everything yourself.
