I blew my rearend up and have been in the process of putting in a new one. The catch is I need to swap my rotors and backing plate onto the new one. The problem is, I can't seem to get the rotors of my old rear. They are just pressed on correct? I snapped a big puller today trying to get them off, so I am a little confused. Anyone know a simple way of removing them? --

Assuming you have disk brakes...
The rotors slip on over the lug studs
Remove the caliper and take a piece of wood and smack the backside of the rotor

I would rent a slide hammer from autozone. It also attaches to the lug studs. Just keep wacking it back and forth until the rotor comes off. It worked for me on my 89 IROC with disc brakes.

Hopefully it doesnt take him 19 days to remove a pair of rotors -- "If you have complete control over the damned thing, you're not going fast enough." - Carrol Smith
