Okay, I'll have to ask

Anyone want to stab at this? I've been having turn signal/brake problems.
As it turns out, when ever I use either side of my signals, all of the brake lights flash. Like I'm tapping my brakes.
I would think that it would be either of the switches, since it's sending power to both sides. It really doesn't sound like a ground to me. I have the whole front and rear torn apart looking for grounds. I just don't wanna start throwing money at it with out thinking it through.
Any suggestions. I bought a new flasher unit before i noticed that both lights were flashing. It was flashing very slowly but now it's back up to speed. It was also blowing fuses a lot. the stop/hazard fuse. Also even with a new fuse in, the hazards do not work. -- Being rebuilt, It'll take a while:

I had a similar problem when I had an aftermarket radio installed. I kept blowing fuses and the lights in the rear wouldnt light up when stepping on the brakes and no rear blinkers. I took the unit out and never had a problem again

Possible short or broken ground
The tailight harness is on the drivers side floor under the sill panel
There is a ground point under the drivers seat and one more near the rear latch -- "If you have complete control over the damned thing, you're not going fast enough." - Carrol Smith

Thanks, I'll look. It just doesn't seem like a ground problem. I'm going to recheck all the bulbs though. I would just think that it would more likely be two power sources touching, therefore lighting both sides. -- Being rebuilt, It'll take a while:

Theres an uncurbed set of formula wheels in a JY in Columbus for $80
They also had what looked like crosslace wheels but they were aftermarket 14"
I didnt know they went that small -- "If you have complete control over the damned thing, you're not going fast enough." - Carrol Smith

John, I love you. I was fucking around with it today and found that the short was somewhere in that vicinity. If i "wiggle and move" the thick bundle of wires the problem stops. I'll look into it later i have class soon. Is the harness about 2inches by 3 inches? I think I saw it poking out from behind the panel.
Well, hopefully this will all come together soon, civics are underpowered even more than 3rd gens! -- Being rebuilt, It'll take a while:

Yeah, I'm sick of it, are you in Indianapolis? I've had two people look at it already but they are "getting the money together" I'll believe it when i see it. -- Being rebuilt, It'll take a while:

im actually from up around Lafayette but i always check craigslist for Indy since there really isnt much on the Lafayette one.
Someone will buy it, dont worry. may have to go down a little but you already know that. It doesnt seem like there are ever very many 3rd gen TA's for sale here in Indiana, dont know why, maybe its just me.
but yeah $2000 would def. get your formula faster :]
