WHEELS/RIMS question

Posted By: irocURsocOFF On: 03-19-2008 @ 20:04:10         Reply | Edit
I have a 1986 Camaro and I have some rims.

Measurements:
front 17x9.5 +54mm offset
rear 18x10.5 +58mm offset

Im not planning to use spacers, where as they arent safe. I would like to use spacer adapters, which bolt to the original studs and have 5 more studs sticking out=safer.

My question is what size do I need?
Is anyone running this size on a thirdgen?
How can I measure with at home tools or parts?(no engine, so I cant just go to a tire/rim store.)

Corvette wheels?

You use 2" adapters all around
The name "spacer" is interchangeable although Id hate to see the size lug nuts youd need to fit thru that much extra material

questions are ok. just dont be ignorant.

i have 17x9 (or 9.5) both front and rear.

the 2" spacers i got off ebay (also can get a skulte.com) are perfect running a stock rear and stock brakes up front. they dont stick out AT ALL. look nice.

May have to "massage" the inner fender well with a hammer but it will fit

Wider has been stuffed under there

you can run the 11" zr1 with a 315 tire on a third gen. it sticks out a tad, but it fits

Its built into firefox
Use it

Second
Dont dig up old threads to talk about an issue that was already covered
It pisses people off and makes us think you're even more of an idiot
