transmission question 2

i followed the directions on the shift kit, but there wasnt a bearing int the diagram but in the transmision there was one. it was the only bearing not shown. should i keep it in there or take it out?

You may also consider calling the manufacturer of the shift kit. Then you could get an answer from the right people.

But, I'd imagine that it should stay. PLEASE call the manufacturer first though. You wouldn't want to break your transmission because "some guy on the internet."

i did talk to a tech and he said to remove it.i did buy new gaskets for the valve body, keep you informed on how it worked out

ok guys this the problem that i ran into an hour ago. i had the transmision that i bought used off ebay and put the trans go shift kit in it, as well as a 2800 torque and it ran great all week. i pulled away from the light and it acted like it was in nutral, then shisted hard, when it got 40 mph it didnt move. i then pulled over put it in low one, fine, shift to 2nd, fine when i shifted into drive nothing at all.... my trany fluid is full and clean. the tv cable has some slack tighten it up and this is where iam at a stand still.... how bad do guys think i screwed it up. does anybody have any ideas or sultions. I NEED HELP

Commonly on these transmissions the 3rd gear routing system will crack and not be able to build pressure to get it into gear, so it will sit just between 2nd and 3rd. this is what i have had a problem with this last transmissions. Maybe one day i will acctually know how to rebuild one. YOU NEED A REBUILD

Noticed the date. I hope maybe this is still usefull information. My camaro has sat for about 4 months becuase i had to direct my 'funds' elsewhere.
