305 HEAD ON 350 BLOCK QUESTION

i got a tpi 350 and i was told if i put 305 heads on it would get me more horsepower and more compression so if some one could shine more lite on this i would love to know so please help

correct me if im wrong, but it think 305 heads have 54cc combustion chambers, and 350s came with 64cc cumbustion chambers, so yea u will increase ur compression ratio, which i beleive stock would be 9.5:1. smaller chambers should push it up and may increase power. --

Be aware the 305 heads dont flow as well because they were not meant to feed a large engine
This is a waste of time
Spend your money on some dirt cheap better flowing heads, whether used aftermarket, ported stock, or just better than what you have used stock -- "If you have complete control over the damned thing, you're not going fast enough." - Carrol Smith

what is the best way to make the most horse power out of my engine. if u have any advise please tell me i have $2500 to build this motor and want to make as much horses as posable i got this guy in a P.O.S 5.0 Mustang that keeps F**K with me and i dont have anything for him right now so please help anyone
