Budget build?

Posted By: T_TopBandit On: 01-02-2008 @ 12:52:48         Reply | Edit
Hey guys!
I've been thinking and thinking if I'm going to do a swap. I'm not looking to build a 10 second car I want to keep it a street driver. I would like to get 300 reliable horses out of her.
What you guys think I should do to get the most bang for the buck and be fast and reliable?
I do want to be able to bust a 350Z ass!

Well you could do that now with the little 305.

Here's how.

3.73 gears
1.6 rr
nitrous wet kit.
headers
catback exhaust
drag radials

I cant get a dealers price on a cold fusion single nozzle wet kit.

But the 305 could beat a 350z.

Or spend that on a 350 and beat cars faster than a 350z

Yeah I deffinanty want to go with a 350 if not 400 if I can find out if the TPI can work.
I'v been thinking of getting a crate 400 short block and use 350 heads off a TPI motor.
You guys think that would work?
Also I want to beat a 350Z on all motor no nos no turbo no supercharger! Just all motor!

Any SBC will work, I would suggest an aftermarket intake base and runners thou

TPI is not the best flowing setup out there

As for your easiest way to 300hp, Nitrous
