The optispark.....i hate the fact that a 'muscle car' cant go through 3 inches of standing water.......

$500 to get it converted, but still can screw up.

"i go down to the kitchen and grab a lt1 take a sip and think....WOW i could have had a tpi"

Most people take and put some sealant around the outside of the assembly after they get it all together. That way if the water pump leaks or something it won't be so easily damaged by water. Yeh, they work well but are in a bad place.

Did you hook up the SES light when you did the conversion?

Did you get an aftermarket wiring setup or did you get the factory harness?

i got the factory harness and have a ALDL connector and OBD I and II tester.....the problem is that it says i have to hook up DLC meaning its not communicating with the computer.....its running off a 9 VOLT battery and in the conversion i DID NOT put in a ciggarette lighter (i quit) so i cant hook it up that way......the paper clip idea yeilded wierd results.

i know the o2 sensors are costing me about 3mpg!!!

i need to drill into the manifold on passenger side. i was looking for o2 simulator or just rig up the correct signal to send back to pcm.

I dont look for speed. 0-60 in 5 seconds is enough.......i cant go 2 blocks without being trailed by the popo anyway.

alll stock rock n roll

What year is the LT1? 93's will give you the results with the paper clip. Most 94's won't. You'll have to scan it.

My OBD I AND II autoscanner doesnt connect to the car for some reason....i have the ALDL.....but still cant figure it out.
