tpi 350 restart help

i have a 89 firebird when we git it to run it does fine then when we turn it off and try to restart it it wont. so whe let it set to cool down then it starts age. fuel pump works and got new fuel felter and checkes lines and injectors and all seems to be working. i love this car but if i cant find the problem out soon i well have to sell and find a new project. please help me asap. u guys know everything about this cars and tpi 350. my fire chicken need u.

Maybe your starter is overheating. Could be going bad/exhaust leak/etc. If your headers are too close, if you have headers, you could rap it or them. Just a thought.

Id put my money on the starter is overheating

Generic starter shields fit our cars fine as well as reflective tape

Mine will turn over but not start after it starts the first time and I turn it off. I'm leaning toward the coil or ICM.

9 times out of 10 it's the ICM.
