305 TPI Questions Posted By: kramer87gta On: 12-29-2007 @ 14:09:50 Reply | Edit Hey Guys, New to the site so let me say hi. i have a 87 GTA convertible, with a 305 TPI and im looking at putting some minor things on it, being i want to keep the car semi in its form, but i want to do vortec heads, SLP Runners, Exhaust and etc. but i was wondering about the vortech head process, as far as how involved is it compared to just buying some and putting them on, and what is all needed to do the swap, or if anybody knows of any websites that give good documentation about how to do the swap and whats all included that would be great! Posted By: kramer87gta On: 03-28-2007 @ 15:46:55 Reply | Top | Edit So after using that magical search function, what cam would you recommend on a car like this, all i plan on doing besides the heads and baseplate, are cam, slp runners, bbk throttle body and SLP air box. Posted By: roubenbird On: 03-28-2007 @ 23:07:33 Reply | Top | Edit i'm not sure but i dont think that vortec heads will match up to your intake manifold. im not positve. and by changing your cam make sure to get one that is for a TPI system if you want full potential --
