Brake Booster "boot" 1977-78

Posted By: Firebird6 On: 06-12-2009 @ 13:56:57         Reply | Edit
Black vinyl (not rubber) boot goes on the booster bracket that attaches to firewall and is held on with two convex dimples at the rear of the vacuum chamber. It slides over the pushrod and is secured by an R-type snap clip where it enters the firewall. Mine is in pieces. Probably the same for 1970-1981 and other GM as well. HELP! Trying to find out if anyone is reproducing or has good used they can sell me.

Yeah, know what you are talking about. Don't know of anyone reproducing them. Best bet would be to check YearOne or National Parts Depot (NDP). They would be your best bets. Good luck.
