I'm putting on 17x9" wheel on my 2nd Gen. WS6 equipped Firebird. What is the largest size tire that will fit without rubbing/interference??

I know my uncle had 265/50/15's all around no problem. I believe he now has 275/60/15's on the rear and 255/60/15's on the front again with no issue. His car is an '80 T/A WS6 for the 8" wide wheels.
