The trans. mount will probably need to move somewhere. Routing radiator hoses will be different. Computer controls the fuel/ignition/trans. Oxygen sensors needed in exhaust. Getting your stock gauges to read info from new motor/trans. Probably throttle cable differences. Never done it, but that's what I'd think. -- 1982 Z28, 383, D-1SC intercooled @ 15psi, trick flow heads, solid roller cam, 3.73's, th400,

You could probably just run basically dual sensors. Obviously the computer needs its readings, then find somewhere else to also put your stock sensors in too. I don't know if anyone makes an electric to mechanical speedometer cable drive, but you'll probably need either that or a new electronic speedo. -- 1982 Z28, 383, D-1SC intercooled @ 15psi, trick flow heads, solid roller cam, 3.73's, th400,

I have done this in a 67 camaro, which is very similiar. Swapped a 94 LT-1 and a 700R-4. I'll try to check back on this site, or email me if you can.
