Gear Vendors?

Anybody using this? what are the goods vs the bads? I'd just like to get some input before shelling out $2600 bucks and beating my floor into submission.

Fred (injuneer) has one, his email is InjuneerZZ@aol.com. I'd go for either a 700r4 or a 4l80e first though. You could get a stand alone computer to work a 4l80e, but I have seen people build them with manual valve bodies so the computer isn't needed. transmissioncenter.com is one place I remember seeing that. I like the other two tranies because obviously less wieght and beating on the car, and they both have lock-up converters making for basically another overdrive gear more than a gear vendors.
