95 ls1 motor in a 78z28

Ok i been slowly restoring a z78 camaro. Mainly tear down, freind of mine has a wrench 95 z28 with a ls1 in it I going to buy it and pull the motor and tranny and drop it into my 78 camaro. has any one else done this or know where I can if some more information of this swap out.

LS-1 or LT1 fbody ls1 production started in 98, I think.

the LT1 was installed in 93-97 f-body's and the LS1 was put in from 98-02...

although this is true, the 95 could have had its lt1 replaced by an ls1, although most likely it is the original ltWON

I did one a few moths ago, try www.hotrodlane they have info on one in a 67 camaro, I put a LT-1 in a 67 camaro also, great swap, I'll never go back to a crappy carb. again. I'll try to answer questions you have.
