260 straight 6 to SBC Posted By: 1967camaro On: 01-02-2008 @ 21:47:25 Reply | Edit Hi all, I recently aquired a stock 1967 Camaro with a 250 straight 6. It also has the stock Saginaw 3-speed manual (converted to floor shift). I plan to put a 383 stroker (350 Chevy), a Muncie M22 4-speed, and possibly a 12 bolt 3.73 rear end, IF I can find one. My question is, how hard is it going to be going from the 6 cyl to 8? I assume I will need new motor mounts? Anything else major? Thanks!
