Rly rly Lame question I know...Cause I know their were alot of different engines and models but i'm looking for into the 77 thru 81. I believe was a 301/400...I see the horse/torque numbers for those cars and they look pitiful but do they run better with all that torque or are they all mostly for show cars? -- ...no bird or camaro but...i have to make due for a year with
1990 Foxbody Mustang with the weak 2.3 and the weaker Automatic...
great shape but jeez.... i only paid 1100...praying for a 3.8 in

tough question. It depends a lot on the rear end ratio, and of course the condition of the motor, but i was getting around 14 mpg with 3.08s and a stock 350, so I would bet around that to a little less than that.
They were fast relative to everything else at the time...but yeah...they're like 15 second cars stock. -- 1978 firebird formula 350-numbers matching, original paint scheme, BG speed demon 650, edelbrock rpm intake, flowtech LTs, custom true duals, accel armor shield wires, !EGR, 160 degree thermo, tremec/keisler custom built TKO500 5-speed, centerforce dual-friction clutch, ART ridepro-e2 suspension control, shockwave double adjustables, airbar triangulated 4 link, strongarm tubular UCAs and LCAs, Hotchkis/musclebar swaybar, Global West SFCs and body mounts, Moog steering parts, Flaming river power steering, procar rally seats, WFOTech clutch linkage and front structure supports, more on the way.
