Posted By: Gammon On: 01-01-2008 @ 13:14:02         Reply | Edit
Anyone know the torque specs for the Firebird 67 cylinder head bolts?? Had a blown head gasket which we are replacing but I can't find these specs anywhere...

(It's a Firebird 230, line 6, overhead cam, 165 hp)

95 ft lbs for Pontiac V8 head bolts. Go in increments of 20 ft lbs then when you have all of them to 95 lbs then add 5 lbs more to the center 2 head bolts to make them 100 ft lbs.
