engine trans swap

How much trouble is it to swap an LS1 and trans into my 86 IROC - it has a 305 auto.

How about an LT4 or LT1?

Should I use the stock AC, power steering, etc?

the lt4 or lt1 would be a direct bolt in, the bottom end on the old school 350 and the LT1 are pretty much identical, it was the top end that made em new. the LS1 is a whole new game though, you would need to fabraicate motor mounts. if you use the trans from either cars that come equiped with those engines then your prolly gonna have to do some more fabrication, unless your going with a t-56 then they make kits to make it a bolt in
