Push Rods for a455

Posted By: winehippy On: 12-31-2007 @ 02:23:45         Reply | Edit
Well got the heads today with crower roller rockers and all. They are 7k3 heads,96cc chambers, big valves, double springs,no dampners.
All will be freshend on the heads, but want to buy a little insurance on the push rods and go with chrome moly.
Anyone got any input on this topic?
Tanks,
Tony

The cam is not too radical at all.Do not have the specs in front of me but if I remember it has about a .475 lift and a .280 duration.
As far as I now know the heads have not been shaved, but won`t be able to answer that question until I get them to the machine shop.
I guess I better wait until I have more info.B-4 I ask this Question again.
Will repost when I am sure.
Tanks fer gettin back though.
All feedback still welcome.
Tony
