my dash pad is cracked and i was looking for a cheaper way to get it replaced or fixed and found the dash caps in national parts depots catalog.

has anyone had any experience with the caps?

check out www.justdashes.com
They might not be cheaper, but I have heard only positive feedback about them.

If you go with JustDashes you can figure at least $500. A friend of mine just had one done for a 69 GTO. It cost him $600 for it,but he says it really looks great. I haven't seen any of the dash caps but I've heard they are ok except for possibly some fitment issues around the glovebox door.
